Retaining Your Peace

In tumultuous times, it may FEEL like we shouldn't have any peace within ourselves. You'll feel that IF you hold any peace in your heart, you should feel guilty about it-- because so many can't find their own peace right now-- if seems unfair, and therefore, you become part of the restlessness due to your desire to sympathize. At the end of the day, this is misplaced and unhelpful to everyone.

You are moving in the direction you constantly look at. Whatever holds most of your attention each day is your propeller, and bringing you more of that energy and that physical evidence. Ask yourself--- are those things what you want? Do I want a life without peace for myself and for others?

You are the keeper of your peace and the creator of your life. Those many many micro decisions that you make about what you want to talk about/focus upon are literally building your life--- and the life you desire for yourself and others ISN'T riddled in worry....ISN'T riddle in fear.... ISN'T riddled with unfair pitfalls, violence and a lack of love.

This doesn't mean to say you shouldn't act to make a better world--- YOU SHOULD! You definitely should--- but from what space are you acting? Where are your eyes focused? If you are focusing on what you don't want, and that is driving you, no wonder your peace is gone. Focus on what you DO want, focus on the beautiful outcome-- and act from there. Love from there. Think from there. Create from there. As the old song goes: "Let peace begin with me."

You CAN change the world and retain your peace and it is vital that you do so. You are creating within your every moment, with every cell and every vibration of your energy. Don't unknowingly contribute to any sorrow--- be an active contributor to peace. Keep your eyes and your focus on peace. It begins with you.
